Pro Tools is the go-to audio production environment found in most modern recording studios. This four-session seminar introduces students to this powerful, complex application.

RECORD, EDIT, EFFECTS, MIX

Our sessions address the four main things producers focus on: recording with microphones, editing the recorded audio, adding some of the great effects that ship with Pro Tools, and mixing things into a professional final product.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW OR BRING?

As an introductory course, no prior skills with music technology are required. We supply all hardware and software, and all the work we do is done in class--no work outside our lab is necessary. We will help you with purchasing decisions once you have worked with the program.

RECOMMENDED

This hands-on seminar is recommended for anyone seeking some experience with Pro Tools and working with audio in general.
